A natural organiser, Ilona is passionate about people as she is about weddings and building something wonderful from scratch. Her ability to envision ideas has made her a creative wiz with a keen eye for detail. She’s an innovator and a perfectionist when it comes to coordinating.  

Ilona built her career in the hospitality industry were she owned several up-market Guest Houses in South Africa. In this period she was involved in planning & coordinating many successful weddings and events.

Driven by her love for wedding planning, Ilona along with her daughter Jessica established Eventa Wedding and Event coordination at the end of 2009.
